But what about the name, you say? Why 'Backstage Web Design?' Well I built my very first website for a local community theatre group. At the time I was, and still am, a member of that group. I'm an actor. I also direct and write for theatre, as there is an abundance of it in my home town. I love the theatre. And if you've ever worked in the theatre, you would know that the people backstage, although you may not see them, are essential in making the production work. They build and move the sets, they manage the stage; they provide the means for the actors to tell the story.
So, you say, what does this have to do with web design? I'll tell you. Your website is the story - the play. All of the information, images and applications on your website are the actors. You, the client, are the Producer. And Backstage Web Design is everything else that makes the story - your website - come to life. The parallels are right there. So there you are. That's why 'backstage'.
So feel free to contact me about a new website, or a redesign, or even a new logo or some cool graphics. I'll make sure your story is told how you want.
